Knowing the year of your ride goes a long way.
Then stating where the wire is located helps as well as the engine type and fueling CIS, Digi or Carbed.

Posting 17 views and no answer then using DA FAKK about 6 hours later….come on this is a friendly forum for assistance, most members here have Jobs, and some of us from across the pond reply back in different time than others. Some like me aren't as well versed on the older CIS engines and have to break out our wiring diagrams to look for things, that is why the year and fuel type are important to us, so please have patience with the membership as we all aren't on the puter 24X7 some like me have a variety of other things scheduled during the day.

I see from the Picture that it is in the general area of the
Tranny, and below the radiator fan, and the other wire in the sheath is brown, and that wire is connected to something, so what is that brown wire connected to, as that may be where the other one should be located near as well.

Do you have a Haynes/Bentley manual the back end pages are filled with wiring diagrams, and well you can look for the Green Wire in the diagrams as well as I can, as I don't know every wire colour that goes everywhere, unlike Rubjohnny….

On another note; these aren't cables they are wires.  Larger diameter wires are called Cables, ie: Battery Cables..tiny things aren't called cables but wires. Ok, "USB charging Cables…but they still are wires and not a Cable as such a bunch if itty bitty wires in a housing or sheath may be referred to as a cable, video cable, but when they break we (collectively Electronic nerd like me say, "There's probably a broken wire in the Cable."…..to me anyway.

Cables to me are Accelerator, Transmission (bowden) for automatics as well as parking or e-brake cables.
Yes I am not that well versed on English terms for things I have on my "Merican Cabriolet" but well aren't all Cabbies German Built just saying.

Probably a good idea. How many queries have you answered on here, but expect a prompt answer.

Of the 17 posts he’s put up it’s all been about his problems.
Wanting help.
But your right Briano1234 were supposed live here and be at everyone’s beck and call and know everything there is to know.
