Im gathering parts and info on fitting the AHU engine into a cabby Gti I have . Not sure on these wires though

Wire colors are semi standard, and knowing where they come from and what they are in is a good help.
I would get a Bentley or a Haynes for the model and the engine that you have, then try to match the looms from it to a Cabriolet of the year you are running.
You didn't say which set the wires belong to, from the Donor, or the Cabby?
