Good day everyone, I have a 1997 VW Golf 1.6 carb Mk1…
I need help with a wiring diagram for the ignition switch. I bought the car as a non-runner with an electrical fault. After some tinkering around I discovered that the car used to have an alarm and immobiliser connected, which were ripped out. Wires are burnt, wires that are not burnt are just twisted together and sealed off with some dodgy insulation tape. I want to install a new ignition switch (the plug burnt out as well) and re-connect the wires as per factory standard.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
