Oil light on and temp light flickering

Hi

So the oil and coolant lights started flickering today, checked the oil and it's nice and clean and plenty in there.
So I changed the oil sensors and now the oil if off when I turn the key and stays off when I start the engine, when it's above 1100 rpm the oil light is solid and the coolant flickers?
I've also bought some 15/40w oil to change as I'm not sure what is in it.

And ideas?

Change your main engine to Frame and Frame to battery ground.  You will eliminate a flaky electric issue.

Mechanically check your OIL PRESSURE.

Coolant flash is either hot, or low on coolant if you have a coolant level sensor in the middle of your jug.
Always fill the coolant to the top seam on the Expansion jug.

BUT HAVE THE OIL PRESSURE TESTED WITH A MECHANICAL GAUGE SO YOU KNOW WHAT IS ACTUAL PRESSURES…..

Don't use a generic filter, use only a Mann, Mahl, STP, Mobile1, WIX or Genuine VW all others are junk.
I run either 10w40 or 20w50 in my Cabriolet.
