Central locking

Hi I have an 2005 citi golf when I unlock by the key remote button it unlocks but dont want to lock by key remote  button …when I lock manually all doors lock any help would be appreciated  

You do know that this is a mostly old mk1 1975-1993 forum?

Hi thanks for the warm welcome …thought it is a all mk1 group …why not expand it for all mk1 …is there a group for newer models if so give it to me please …show would I go about checking the central locking as it's my first time coming across such problem
