Carb to Injection

Post

I’ve gone from carb to 1.8t & installed the fuel system (lifter pump, external pump, swirl pot e.t.c) & now need to wire it up. I’ve researched it so much I’m just confusing myself so any help would be greatly appreciated. So far I’ve fitted my converted loom, three wires left to connect to the CE1 fusebox: the old stock red/white into the N plug, one to main power (one of the spare P plugs I'm guessing?) and the other to fuel pump relay socket 2 pin 3.
What’s left to do before turning the key - can someone advise if the below is correct please:

Connect main fuel pump positive to E14? Negative to spare brass plug above fusebox?
Run a wire from main fuel pump positive to lifter pump?
Fuel pump relay (67/80/167) into socket 2?

Might still make it to Harwood House in a fortnight with some pixie dust lol.

factory the fuel pump is wired to E/14. there is a male spade hanging off this pin as well for engine electrics, for example this would be perfect for your lambda heater as per factory digifant.

for e/14 to work you need to run the 20v ecu trigger purple/white wire to D/13, and use a 67, 80 or 167 relay in slot 2.

spade N is used for injector power on later digi, you could use it as well if you wanted. or you could power the pump from it with an inline fuse. (or both)

I have a couple of E14 pins handy (thanks to an old post you did re: Polevault 3-1564  ;) ) & a spare 167 relay but I don't have a purple/white wire coming out of the loom.

Perhaps the fuel pump relay is built into the loom already which is what could be throwing me. There is a relay numbered 61 built into the loom but thought this was for the ecu?

who made the loom for you? relay 61 is the over-run cut-off for the carb so obviously no use on a 20v…

what type of ecu is it, dbw or dbc?
