Can I remove / take apart front speaker pods without removing the hole door card?

Not really electrical, but its ICE related so figured I'd ask here..

The car has the larger later speaker pods and pockets. I can see it has 2 screws that attach the speaker pod to the pocket. Are there any screws that attach it to the door / door card?
I've undone the 2 visible screws but it doesn't seem to want to come away, so not going to pull it to hard. Just wanted to understand if there are hidden screws that are accesible from the front, or if its attached to the card from behind.

On the 91.5 Cabbies and up that I have owned there are the 2 screws on the speaker pods at the front.  The speaker pod then should pull out from the front as there are finger keepers on the rear.

That isn't to say that the PO didn't add something on the back side.  

Probably best to take the door card off.

You can't take the door card off with the speaker pod in place, there are two screws holding that corner of the door card to the door.

As Briano1234 said, undo those two visible screws and pull the speaker pod forwards, towards the door hinge.
