Polish/wax
Diamond Brite the as the first coat to give long term protection.
Carnube by simonize for 'special occasions' and autoglym for regular polishing.
Will have so much silicon on the paint it would just slip through the air and give you an extra 2mph top end lol.
Over a polish loaded with silicon will give a good shine and keep clean longer as budget drops then drop the earlier stages but autoglym is great I find if that's all you were after.

I have always, wondered that.
I used to love "Rain Dance" but I can never find it.
On new 2 stage paint I would claybar it, clear coat polish, followed by a cleaner wax similar to Mcquires, then follow by a Carnuba.
I tend to stay away from Silly-cone infused stuff, as trying to get all that Silly-cone off to re-paint is a PITA.
It is all personal opinions, and what results you want.
Then 2 weeks later when all the wax dries you get to clean up the parts you missed when buffing….
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.
