Mk1 Sunroof Adjustment Bolt

Post

Hi All,

I have recently picked up a Mk1 Campaign that needs a bit of TLC.

One of the jobs is to fit a new sunroof seal as the original has dropped and shrunk so leaks.

I've got the sunroof out ok, but at some point in the past, one of the screws / nuts that is used for the height adjustment has been lost.

It has been replaced with a nylock nut which works, but it does mean you cannot adjust it from inside the car, you have to keep taking the sunroof out to adjust, check and put back in.

I've had a look on ETKA and the forum and cannot find the part number for the correct bit.

Here is a photo of what I am after: -

Does anyone know where I might get one of these from or what the part number is for it?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Not knowing the year and where it is normally located I can't help you….

My Sunroof is the whole hood. :)

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Hi All,

Thanks for the advice. I've done some digging / asking around and I have found that the nut / bolt is part of the cable assembly, part no. 171898015

I think I have found one from an online seller, but if anyone else needs the part. no in the future, at least that is known now!

Thanks again
