mk1 golf cabriolet carpet foot well clips?

Does anyone have a picture of the carpet in place (on a cabriolet if different?). i can't see how clip number 3 holds the carpet.

Are for securing the back end of the cardboard under the knee-bar cover


They are similar to the circular ones, and installed as thus


Hope it helps ya out.

Folks with large feet usually pop that cover off and it falls, then you remove it because it is a pain in the assets to keep putting in place..
Yes I have that cover somewhere, but it is in a box that is under my house and I am not going to go through it to take a snap.

I didn't know there was a cover on the drivers side..  if people knock it off with their feet it make sense its gone. .  I was scratching my head thinking it was meant to hold the carpet..

It does hold the carpet to the footwell, it is similar used as the round button ones are.

I cant believe i didn't mention your garage. You best keep hold of them VHS tapes. You never know when you'll need them Looks big enough for another car?
