Sorry did a quick search first.
My key is stuck in the handle :(

I've removed door card and the screw at side of door but handle still solid.
Am I right thinking there's a bolt it screw up inside the door?

Thank you

Have a look at the diagram on here

partsbase.org

If you remove the chrome door trim there is a screw at front I think  if I remember from years ago when I took one off a mk1 Polo I think you just undo the screw in the door side and the front one and then pull the handle outwards and then the handle slides forwards or back wards and then comes out.

dont force it in case I'm wrong but the diagram might help

EDIT - just Googled up and there might not be a front screw, just remove rear one and slide forward

For removing the rounded screw.

Reversible variable Drill and left handed drill bits,  Just use one that is smaller than the diameter of the head of the bolt…. going back use never-seize.

Oh, and on the new handle, take your lock out of the old one and use it for the new one.
