Hi Bud

If its any help to you I have just stripped the whole clipper kit off my car as I am going the other way to small bumpers, I have all the fixings needed the only thing you would need to get would be the gasket kit (rubber gasket that goes between kit and body work) and some fixings to pop into the holes you will have in wheel arches where the clipper kit arches screw into.

My kit was freshly painted about 12 months ago, there are some runs in the rear bumper underneath but you cannot see when fitted

The rear bumper has had a tweak though the rear towing eye hole and fog light hole has been smoothed and fog light is now in my rear light cluster

You can run it without the gasket kit though depends on how OEM you want to be

for gasket kit and fixings, Mark at Classic VW is your man http://www.classic-vw.co.uk/exterior-774-c.asp

£150 for the kit with fixings if any good to you, wrapped in shrink wrap to stop scratches, collection from Bristol

When you go to fit the kit you will need to do the reverse of when I stripped it, so bumpers on first, then arches, then side skirts to finish off

Bensmk1 Haashimmk1 is sending over a  deposit tonight for it but if you do decide to go big bumper (clipper kit) then let me know as I know someone else who has one stored away who would probably sell it

Yep my price of £150 was for the whole kit, front bumper, rear bumper , side skirts and all the fixings I have. The bumper irons and hangers underneath the kit have been power coated too, they are prone to rust, so its probably got £60-£80 worth of powdercoating

I don't do scene tax when I sell stuff if I can, as its all about helping other Mk1 Owners out, what the club is all about
