Vacuum hose routing question - Inlet - 16v mk1

Hi, I have a vacuum hose connection om the front part of the inlet by the fuel injector (pic 1). Where is it supposed to be routed? Cant find anything obvious on the vacuum hose diagrams.

Since I have fuel vapor system still under the left front fender, wherer should I route that vacuum hose now? (pic 2)

If you have the inner fender out you can easily get to the Vapor canister, and there is a how to on replacing the charcoal in the canister….

the thread is here but devoid of the pictures due to pbucket…..
I took apart the charcoal canister, put new charcoal in, and reassembled (pics) | VW Vortex - Volkswagen Forum

But you can get the idea.

Vacuum hose routing question - Inlet - 16v mk1

Thanks for the tip regwrding the charcoal canister. I will have a closer look at it :). Any tip om where the actual vacuum hoses should go? It is connected to the canister and if my memory serves me right it was connected to the rubber pipe connection om the meterering head om the 8v JH engine.. i do want to confim it with anyone that knows for sure..

Have only seen them installed in to Show mk1's that I have seen….not how they were installed….sorry.
