Want to replace my Alternator but struggling to identify it
Its off my ABF but I know it's not an ABF alternator obviously, but it works fine so just want a direct replacement.

Over here that type of alternator is known as a Motorola.  It was installed on Rabbits/Golfs made in Westmoreland,  (Westy's).  The Cabriolets over here have the Bosch alternators.

The differences are the way the Electric Cables mount, a plug on the Motorola, or Stud and ring connectors on the Bosch.

There were also 2 amperages, 60, and 95 on both models.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Have you checked the regulator and brush pack?
Unless the bearings shot or windings are open and not pushing out the proper voltage replacing the regulator usual sorts em out.
About £8.00 for a regulator.
2 screws job done.
Just a thought
