Any suggestions as where to split? I'm thinking one port to front brakes and then running a single line to the back and splitting it at the back.
Vw11 calumets up front and drums on the rear.
Any thoughts?
Cheers Ian

I don't have a rear compensator tbh. I'm thinking that the lack of 'strength' in the rear drums will be enough on it's own. I'm pretty sure the Cabby doesn't have one nor does my Derby as far as I'm aware. It might be a case of suck it and see, although advice is always welcomed!

The Cabriolet has the Proportional valves on the MC, for the rears.
I personally have had the Brakes go out on me and I was very thankful for the e-brake.
The rears don't have the stopping power that the front do, but, having no front's isn't fun at all.
I had a rear Brake line fail on a MG as I was going over Rail Road Tracks…. then at the next stop, no brakes….. a broken line isn't fun… E-Brake…….
On the Westys, the Proportional Valve was on the Fender, and split the 2 lines to 4. You might look on ebay.
Replacing all the Rubber hoses with the Stainless Steel Jackets ones that have the Teflon inners ROCK….

the mk2 brake beam mounted bias valve can also compensate for the loss of one of the brake circuits as well, not sure if the older mk1 unit can do the same
