Are there parts I can use from AJQ engine for BAM engine??

Hi, I have AJQ engine which I need gone but are there bits worth holding onto for BAM engine that im going to use.
Is the cylinder head the same?
Already taken off the sump.

AJQ engine has damage.
 I've pictured what I found in the sump after I removed it!  And theres a big hole in the side of the block too.
What causes that to happen?

Are you Kidding me?
Thrown Rod, low oil, too fast rpm, bad bearing that over heated the carrier and the rod broke, Driving with no oil oil pump bypass sticks open, or in turbos too much boost? Not watching the Gauges? as in Total coolant loss at high revs……  If it twere a Diesel I would suspect that the timing belt is missing a few teeth, and the Piston fusing itself to the Valve and Head came detached from the wrist pin….  

Shoot I can remember seeing a lifter rod in a 1278 MG Break and come out the side of the block.

Must have sounded disgusting for a short while!
