Mk1 Golf

Hi. I'm after information really. I have a Mk1 currently insured through if you like a standard insurance company. I want to get classic car for it. However I don't really have any idea of it's value, and was therefore thinking someone may help here! Its 1982 in Helios blue. It was made to order in this color by the chap who bought it new, it was imported by him, but is right hand drive. It is a 1.8 GTI. It is in very good original condition, with 141K on the clock. It also has full service history from Monaco's VW in London. I really need an idead of what the thing is worth. Thanks

 

Best bet I think would be to go to a VW tuning or service specialist.I had mine done originally by Brian Ricketts from BRM (RIP) and have kept it updated since to its current 5 figure valuation. Can think of "The Phirm,AMD unless other can add.
