Insurance valuation

Does anyone know where I can have my car valued so I can get an agreed valuation for my insurance company, does the club offer this?

Don't quote me on this but I'm sure this has been asked before and I don't believe they do at the moment.

What has the insurance company asked for?

With my classic insurance I gave them a figure I thought it was worth, had to send them 7 pics, tick a few boxes relating to bodywork, interior, electrics, chassis and engine on a scale of poor to excellent and detail anyworks I had carried out since purchase. Oh yeah and what I purchased it for.

Policy is through Adrain Flux and the insurer is Markerstudy.

Should be £15 on top of your policy but I got it free this year due to price matching .

What would a complete nut and bolt restoration to a Helios Blue Campaign using all new original parts be worth. £15k has been spent on this car so far

It's not that's been spent and prices are all over the place IMO.

Ask for what you think and they will only give how much they think anyway.

I have had 2 out of 3 prices as I wanted and the 3rd a big lower.

Adrian flux nearly gave me a heart attack today! rang them for a quote Im 42 years old been driving with no convictions for 25 years , full over 9 years no claims on 4 other vehicles and thought as they advertise everywhere to be the classic modified specialists, I would ask them to quote

MODS , 1.8T ENGINE , STAINLESS EXHAUST , LOWERED , AND BBS ALOYS WHEELS

Only doing 10 shows a years limited to only 1500 miles

My usual quotes are around £150 with Bridle

Not even a agreed value included and they wanted to fit a smart box in car !
