whens the next south east meet ???

coz i wont wanna miss it now i got me new toy  :wink:

Don't know, shall we organise one here and now! Any saturday suits me. Anyone else from the SE area got any dates in mind, and a suggestions on a location??

Apparently theres is a regular golf meet in ashford at the french connection restaurant at sevington but dont know the dates though  :cry:  my brother inlaw was saying about it  :wink:

hmm, not heard about that, but if we can find a date then could meet up and head down there together. I'm in sittingbourne, that would be pratically on your way. Is it a MK1 meet do you know, or just a general VW or golf meet?

Anyone else on here know, or want to organise a mk1 meet somewhere??

There is a sussex GTI meet regularly, last Sunday of each month.

I went there instead of Gaydon this year because I couldn't face the drive. There were a few cabs, me and Dub 76 were the only tin tops in attendance.

Quite a good vibe, usually plenty of air cooled attendance.

Depends where in sussex it is. It is a bit of a drag for me, as I'm in North kent, but might be worth it once in a while if there's a good crowd there.

i,ll be up for that like you say if its to far we,ll go once in a while but if its somewhere like  hastings that dont take that long nice drive down the A roads ! still quite a way tho  :wink:

AA says it's 87 miles, and 1 hr 47mins to get there, exactly what speed do they think I'll be doing?? Think I can beat that by 20mins easily  :mrgreen:  might make the trip sometime!!

There is something about green rover 75's on a sunday afternoon, I always seem to get stuck behind one on an impossible-to-pass bit of road. I swear dark green rover 75s breed in this area!

So is anyone elso gonna come? I make that October 30th this month?

Only problem is I won't have my mk1 on the road then     taking it off the road at the end of the week to start work on it over the winter as I've now got myself a nice little mk2 to tide me over. I will however still come if others are going??

Unfortunately I'm in Oxford on the 30th so can't make the Patching meet.

Should be up for it next month though, only 10 miles or so from me.
