I am in this area as well and cant seem to find anything, i am new to this though, hopefully there is one  O_o

From what I can see there aren't any hosts towards that side of the Midlands - http://vwgolfmk1.org.uk/forum/index.php?page=forumview&id=west-midlands

Have you thought about starting something up yourself?

I'm in the shrewsbury area if either of you fancy a spin over this way, would be nice to go for a drive in another mk1, have only ever been in the one I have now and its been fully restored from a bare shell so would be nice to have something to compare the drive too now its back together

I'm only just into Shropshire area. I agree that not enough meetings in the area,but am going to uttoxeter big meet this weekend if anyone up for it . Come over and say hi!! Mines the green caddy pick up
