Very broken Audi A4 - Any Audi technicians on here??

Post

I mean really broken.

Hi,

Don't suppose there are any Audi technicians with MK1 Golfs that might be around on here?

Got a rather poorly 2008 Audi A4 that has my garage stumped - can't find anything like it on the t'interweb. Could do with some brains to pick.
I hate all this modern electronic stuff - turns a mechanically sound car into an immobile brick.

Ta!

Not really your area but there's an excellent Auto Electronics Engineer here in Sheffield. Check his Facebook page "Bellmans Auto Electronics".

Cheers,
currently car is immobile so to move it anywhere requires towing!

May end up giving them a call if my local spot don't start making progress!

Have you tried the AA or RAC to see if they can get it going? They may even tow it to a garage depending on what cover you have with them?

Worse case…. Scrap man will pick it up for and give you money for it..

Local garage hooked me up with the local AA man, signed up and after having a good look (no joy) he took it down to the garage. Problem is, they can't figure it out either! I'm raiding e-bay for 2nd hand bits in the vain hope that one of them might cure the problem.
I had a dream last night that it got fixed….imagine my disappointment.
On a positive note I stripped the head on the GTi, ready for a clean and rebuild.
