MK1 Caddy TDI Conversion

Hi been a while since i've been on here haven't updated the gti thread then again i've done nothing to it ha.
Anyway when i was 18 i went and bought myself a bmw 325 tds which wasnt the grippiest of cars at the best of times so the hunt was on for a winter hack. I always wanted Caddy so i ended up driving to Bristol from Co. Durham was about 12 hours all in and a lot of miles ha.

So i carried on using the beemer waiting for the bad weather to come when surprise surprise an 18 year old in a 2.5 RWD car crashed:o.
I only hit a sign post the car was wrecked but no injuries luckily. So out came the caddy and i hated it haha. it was cold and rough and i just couldn't hack it (what was i expecting i do not know). So out i went to find another car ended up buying myself a mk3 1.9tdi which i figured i would end up putting in the caddy until a very nice bora highline came up cheap down south again so off i went to get it meaning the golf was now available to hack to bits.

So back on with the project basically after spending some time getting my brothers classic mini built up which is still on going i have eventually started the project engine came out of caddy a couple of weeks ago and have just taken the engine out of the golf today.

Plans,
Engine fitted and running tested etc
Remove engine and everything else
respray whole car inside, outside
underseal/spray underneath
wood floor in back
Lowered
engine rebuilt
engine refitted
sort interior out
basically make it comfortable as a daily.

I will be doing all the work myself with some help from friends and family so that i can keep costs to a minimum as i wont be going crazy on it as i may have to sell so that i can fund my other projects.

Thanks for looking.
