That's tidy - Beemer 6-pots are a nice engine/sound!

Glad you lost the Lexus style lights!  

i love the noise, its addictive till I watch the fuel gauge lol.

And ye it was in abit of a state when I got it but was very cheap so couldnt complain and made silly money off the lights haha.

well yet again its been eventful.

Took the car back to the bodyshop to be finished off and redo sideskirt and has came out perfect




But then on the way from the bodyshop (1 mile down the road) i lost drive and after alot of clutch kicking and luck managed to get it down to my mates garage. To find that clutch had killed itself

So 8 pieces of wood later up on a 2 poster it was




Nice reflections and beading after flat and polish


old clutch but looks like original and all stamped bmw (car has done nearly 166k)



but after me and my mate took it apart and then he put it back together (while i was busy ) it took under  8 hours and we had never done one before even with the exhuast brackets  and all bolts seized to hell




So then today went about fitting leather interior back in (was paint dyed from stone grey to black) and proper happy with it

Looks really tidy, I do like E36 era, don't see too many about either

ye its my kind of age car tbh and really nice to work on.

Im seeing more and more done now and some really imense ones out there

I had an E36 318i 4-door company car some years back. Not the quickest car going but was really nice and I loved the chassis, very well balanced and controllable

Love the tailgate. Much more subtle than those gigantic wings that people are whacking on these. Jag wheels are a nice touch too.

Managed to get some rolling shots of it now I am able to run with centre caps again which are now with the same neo-chrome as the split bolts .

Wow I had a 318is in that colour with tan leather many moons ago. Great car, reminds me of some great times
