Well as of this evening, this will be my new daily

I've not seen it in the flesh yet, but it appears to be a well known car in the E39 club circles and having spoken with the owner at length, it seems a very well cared for car.

Everything that could be an issue has been done recently - i.e. new turbo, cooling system, torque converter etc etc. It also has a DTUK tuning box fitted and Ecotune decat so should go well! I've driven a fair few miles in these back in the day and it's one car I've really still hankered after so I'm looking forward to getting behind the wheel!

Sadly though it means that I'll be parting company with the Corrado VR6. It was good whilst that lasted but the need for (slightly!) better MPG, a bit more space and the ability to pull a trailer is a greater need right now.

Greta cars even though they are getting a bit long in the tooth, like us  :o

I had a silver 2.8 petrol and it was faultless and so smooth to drive.

It certainly looks in great condition and the diesel engine is a sweetie.

Yeah they're great cars, did a lot of miles in one before - and did love my E91 330d so hopefully will have the love for this too.

Quite looking forward to having an auto again too. I must be getting old!

Now, where's my pipe and slippers?  O_o

It's a lot of car for not a lot of money. I've certainly bought a good one with all the major work done so I don't have to, plus new tyres and brakes :)

It drives beautifully and you'd never know it's got 172k miles on it! So far this week I'm averaging about 50mpg - which is great given it's been re-mapped and got more oomph. I'm sure it will be a little less when I work out what it really is but reckon I'll be getting mid 40s.

Here it was resting on my drive Monday night after collection

That looks like a cracking car and purchase Andy.
The colour is similar to a colour they did in the 80's for the 3 series.

If I could find a 323i convertible in that colour in great nick I'd just might jump ship!   :$

They did indeed Mike.

Here's an E30 we had in stock last year, it's more like an olive green. This was a beautiful car to drive, I loved it!!
