2022 marks the start of my involvment in the mk1 scene. In 2019 I inherited my mk1 Caddy sport which, due to Covid, took me until May 2020 to get it into my garage. I spent the summer tinkering and learning to trust it for longish journey's but I still only managed to get 700 miles clocked up. This year I want to take it to at least one VW event to show it off and get a few more miles on the clock. This is a 1992 Caddy Sport that was bought new by my Dad and I had my first driving lesson in it. Before I got it it had spent about 20 years in my Dad's garage where he tinkered and kept it as close to as new condition as possible. During that time he barely drove it so it currently has only 50k miles on the clock. Apart from the load cover it is entirely original spec. I've attached a picture.
From what I can glean from the DVLA this is one of five surviving Caddy Sport's.

More photo's attached. They're not great and were taken to send to the insurers.
