1.8kr 16v Head Gasket

Ive been doing a bit of work on my Caddy pickup engine and am about ready to put the head back on. However I noticed that the old gasket apears to be missing a coolant passage hole which is present in the head and block. My new gasket is exactly the same and others Ive looked at do not have this hole also.

Sure others out there have come across this issue??

Any advice would be much appreciated!
