  Hi….
Im totally newbe with Volkswagen, but I always love the MK1. Usually I make restauration on Toyota land cruisers but I change this time with this one
Im from Chile but living in Finland, is really hard to found an old car in a good shape free rust for the salt on winter, but luckily and close to my town I found one MK1 ‘87 cabrio recently imported from Italy , free rust and I found the paper that was registered there like antique car.

So… of course after drive the car to my home, I start to disassembly, I was thinking to start from the interior but the continue with front axle… and I’m not sure when I going to stop

Here some pictures how I bought and how it goes

I bought the new Isolation and new carpet, and everything for the front axle probably I will remove the transmission and engine for cleaning and detailing .
