Lagos Yellow Cabriolet

I currently have a lagos yellow cabriolet 15.GL under restorations. How rare are these in the UK and has anyone done a restoration on one to inlighten me on the genera specs for interior/exterior 

Hi, welcome to the forum.  I have only ever seen one Lagos yellow cabby before so must be pretty rare.

Post up some pictures so we can see what you are starting with so we can advise on what seems to be standard or not.

It was bought with a aftermarket bmw body kit i was told but has now been stripped down 

Here is the link to a 1982 brochure which may help, your colour isn't listed but the choices changed do much in the 80's not unusual for some not to appear.

Think the yellow ones might have had a black interior but not 100% sure, but the clue will be what dashboard you have as the tan interiors had a brown dash.

These pics of a members car which was sold a few years ago may help as well, not sure if whoever bought it is on here now?

I have leather trimmed door cards which is making me wonder if theyre correct or not! The seat trimmings against the door card are all off matching but dont have anyphotos. The dash is black

I've only ever seen one over here in Austria and it's just about a mile from where I live. Next time I see it I'll grab a photo or two.

mcdonut … you may be able to help here.

He has a Lagos Yellow cabby, black interior. The colour was a 1 year only spec in the 1983 brochure (see the gallery section for info).
