The " i'll finish this thing eventually, ahhh, more needs done" project

Well after finding the B plate mk1 ,
polishing it up and getting her looking not too bad,


It was time to see what lay underneath Well I was almost in tears 
 

Nice looking car, from the top   love the Porsche wheels, one of my favourites.

There's always a multitude of rusty sins lurking under mk1 golfs, nothing that can't be fixed though. Just as your title suggests

after spending a fortune with vw heritage, here's some of the work been done,

The boy that did it for me done a cracking job, he went a lot further and deeper in than i was expecting and cut out every drop of rust He even done all the bits that will never see daylight again  ,

Getting there, need a painter now , got her 2 genuine new front wings and a new genuine bonnet also ,
Just need to find a painter who isn't gonna pull my pants down but will still do an A1 job Then i'll start on the mechanicals and wiring  

Keep the faith and stick with it, you won't regret it!

Any updates on this car, I just found the thread just now, I used to own this car about 10 years ago, nice to see some pics of it again, wish I had kept it.
