Door panel hole

I finally installed the beige leather interior I bought ages ago in my '91 blue Rivage. Only when I had installed the door panels did I realise both have a circular hole below the top speaker - inside the frame there is a hole as though it was intentional. As electric windows were on the car, I wonder what the hole was for - and are there blanking plates available to fill the gap? IMG-2746.JPG

Strange.

They're not leather, btw.

Whip
/wip/
Noun - Car

When the steering wheel was first put into use in automobiles, it was called the whip. The term has now been generalised to classify any automobile.

Some other cars were window crank and these holes when used on a power window set up would have plastic blanks installed.

Just use a set of measuring callipers to measure the openings diameter and I’m sure you’ll find something on every.
The blanks were plain black BTW

You can buy plastic/leatherpaint if you wished
17043 Camel colour code in the SEM leather paint is not to bad a match to the colour.
If you have a supplier nearby you could take a door card into a paint supplier and check it against their chips.
