need some advice and tips on my 1.8 carb cabby engine in my 83 tin top
Bought a 83 tin top that has a 1.8 8v carb engine from a 89 cabby in it, bodywork is thankfully sound with only small rust bubbles on bottom of the doors which i'll sort out eventually. Looking more towards some performance upgrades and wanted some advice on what would be best, thought about some twin weber carbs and maybe something to do with the timing gear or camshafts. Anyone know of any other pretty good stuff I could do to get a bit more performance out of it. In the long future I wanna look at an engine swap with something like a mk2 16v or possibly a G60 but not possible yet due to the money. Also looking at some suspension and brake upgrades just not 100% sure on what will work best
