My conversion is a little more complicated than yours as I have A/A and want to keep it. Also want power sterling and have changed all……….so I need to make space in the front for all 3 radiators: water, condenser and intercooler.
Breaks: Want abs, arl with that power so all going to change. Have bought big 4 piston front calipers, rear disk conversion, new lines, sensors, wiring, control unit….. a big job.
New complete respray and chrome bumpers.
ARB from K&W new as well, as it did not have them originally and wanted them, and then comes my question: Which suspension coil overs are you planning in yours?, as you do not mention anything about it.
Any suggestions and recommendations from your swap will be appreciated.
Regards.

Hi, my name is Gonzalo, from Spain, living between Madrid and London, I found you here in this web, as I am now in the middle of your same past engine conversion. My last engine was a 1.9 diesel non turbo and had it for many years and wanted a change so I decided to go for a ARL engine diesel, but plan to remap it and get a little more, probably 180. Want to use it a lot, as a daily car, and diesel is still cheap in Spain. Not like in the UK.
