My first MK1. I get her on Saturday, any advice guys, first proper project, nervous but excited.

Also does anyone have any history with this car as it still has mot?

Welcome to the forum, looks like a Green Rivage you have there with beige leather?  Don't see too many of those about.

If the info above is right it can't be a Rivage as Automatic cars are carbs, Fuel injection is only fitted to manual cars…

It should state on the V5 whether it’s a Rivage. Late Rivage’s had the Carb replacement engine.
JH or 2H? with Cat taking power down.
So you could get a non DX engine in the Rivage.
But not sure I’ve heard of the EW fitted unless it was ordered from factory as extras.

A lot of Army/service personnel who served out in Germany bought cars from VW new and had all sorts of stuff as added extras.

Still a good project to start off with.
