Looks good although he does mumble on a bit at times   

I'll be watching this. He might catch up with me so I can see how all the interior goes back in  
Shame it's had a single wiper conversion and lost the twin light grille, but other than that - looks ok. Seen worse!

For someone that's never fabricated before its a big project to start with.  
I've rebuilt a few body shells over the years and I still find it very testing.
Infact I'm off to fit a rear quarter on a mk1 this morning and am dreading it!

What are the opinions on what Dans done in the boot with carpeting all the bare metal? 

Not all the details are to my liking but I think he has done a brilliant job! DIY paintjob is great.

The boot is the only bit of my car I didn't have painted as I love the scuffed up patina of it. Makes it look used.

IMO he done all the hard work, made a nice shell with decent paint, put a lot of hard work in

And then missed a massive opportunity to make it an epic car by doing pointless mods like carpeting the boot, using alcantara, and not making the best of the recaros and using OE red stripe material in the centres

And those  those wheels 🤮 they didn't even look good on a mk4 or polo

Just feel the Car could have been far better to look at imo, but he rushed/scrimped on the final details , which is a shame
