New to here, wanting to get a Mk1 Golf (GTi) grew up in the 80's but sadly only ever had a Mk2 GTi
So a Mk1 it is, looking for a project (not rusty body project) so I was wondering what the 20vt conversions are like?
Anyway I think I'll lurk around for a bit longer before I go buy anything, but the VR6 install thread has already tugged at me, but maybe a bit much for my first Mk1 build….

Can't comment on coversions, I'm very much a 'keep it original' chap. But if I scored another one….
The VR6 project is certainly very impressive.
