Living in Turkey - Restoration in Mind

I am a British expat, retired and living in Fethiye, Turkey. I am looking for (in Turkey) a 3 door Mk1 1.8 Gti to restore. I see there are a number of members in Turkey, so if there is any lead to a possible car, please message me. If Turkish is your first language my fellow restorer is Turkish and I will put him on the phone. He also runs a local VW garage!

I used to own one of these many years ago, and always regretted letting it go. I recently restored and sold an Audi A3, but it just made me realise that it was the Golf I wanted to get back to.

Any help will be much appreciated.
