Alpine White Campaign
Recently joined the VW clan after years and years of not owing one I finally re-joined the March. So glad I spent a little more than I could afford 6 months ago on this little gem of a Mk1 Alpine White Campaign just before the prices started going crazy.
Anyway there you go - little to do on her but will do it as and when I get the time. Timing is the greatest issue at the moment as she is missing slightly, local garage tried but not quite got it right but unsure if I need to take it on a rolling road or not - what do you guys suggest??
Take care.

Ref the running of it, take a look at rubjonnys guide if you haven't already; (he's a VW guru of epic proportions!!)

It's for the 16v but just ignore the 16v specific parts.
It covers the basics but it's surprising how often the simple can be overlooked or forgotten. I like to think I know what I'm doing, but have used this with success in the past.
You may just find it's something very simple that's causing the missing.
Hope you get it sorted - keep us updated

Glad I'm not alone in North Wales! Your Mk1 looks lovely. Should try to meet up sometime. Where are you situated? I'm near Prestatyn, where they have a great classic car show in May. Already got my name down

Not that far away Malc, I am from the sunny vale of Ffestiniog.
Not really taking her out with all this road salt etc but she will be out for the summer and the show could be a potential opportunity.
I have been thinking of going to the Bodelwyddan VW show whenever that is??
Speak soon

Hi, I checked out the web ( http://www.all-types.co.uk/Main-Home/main-home.html ) and the VW show in Bodelwyddan is on the 21st May. I would have gone, but I'll be recovering from a major birthday party the night before, down in Essex.Sion Gloddfa said
