Newbie with Coco

Hi, Just discovered this site!
I've got an '86 GTI CC in my garage, had it for about 6 months.
i'm planning on restoring it, as soon as the wasps have moved out, which set up their nest in the roof lining (seriously)

Can anyone give me any info about the 'CC' model? the guy who sold it to me said its a Coco Chanel Limited edition, but any more info would be greatly appreciated!
