Newbie saying hello

Hello I have just bought my first MK1 convertible after looking like most people for a long time.
It came with a stainless steel Scorpion exhaust apart from the noise is there any real benefit to changing it for the standard exhaust already on the car ?

Thanks Mark

Welcome Mark888, nice clean looking car you have there.

The exhaust may give you a little more performance and being stainless it should last, the main problem is the exhaust manifold and down pipe as I guess you have the original parts with the C clamps as it's rather restricting.

I noticed in another post your headlight is cloudy, you can buy new units, plenty of places sell new hella lights so shop around.
