Newbie from Cornwall

Just purchased myself a lovely gti cabby which in the current climate is proving to be an awesome decision.  I'm enjoying some of Cornwall's finest roads with the roof down

Sorry, here are some better pictures.  My plans are really to try and keep it as original as possible.  Its a 2 owner car, dry stored for the last 21 years.

Wow, that's one nice looking car, looks like a sportline from the outside but not the inside . Has it been restored at sometime and painted the same red as the Sportline?

Nope never been restored it's the original paint.  I took those pics just after I had machined the whole car to bring the paint back.  She was pretty much pink when I got her - it's paprika red.  I have had to paint the mirrors though as they were too far gone.

Whereabouts in Cornwall are you? We're in Camborne.

I'm in a village called Ladock which is just the other side of Truro so not far from you at all  

I've sent a request to join the facebook group  

I was thinking of going to the show in Stithians at the end of August but will have a look at First n Last too.

We normally attend the Jamboree.

We do a club display on the Saturday and then whatever on the Sunday (normally in the show and shine)

First n Last is good little show on the Sunday.
