New to the Forum, But from SA

This is my 2004, Golf Life, 1.6i
Hope u Like?
Its really stock with a 40mm lowering kit and VR6 Lip, car is still under Vw Factory warranty so I can't really touch it? that much, Motor has the MP9 injection(stock) with filter and mapping, 90Kws OTF





I'll take a Pic Of the New Dash aswell?

"Vw factory warranty" 8O Mine ran out 20 years ago!

Good lookin car.  Nice to see it hasn't changed a great deal over the years.

They still make the Mk1's in SA,
The Life's and the Velociti's come out stock with this rim, I think its one of the best looking Stock VW rims! Its the same outside, but inside its very diff! they just brought out a new front bumper and back lights on the Golfs, u can check it out on www.volkswagen.co.za look under Citi? :lol:  :lol:

I got motorplan and everything with this car aswell!

The other thing u might notice is the big front window? No 1/4 Glass anymore, and the back wiper is in the glass, not the body,

looks like the same size glass to mee...and that white citi golf...jap exhaust?? 8O, i like the rear lights though, the ones on your car are nice, the front somehow reminds me of a mk2 polo coupe?

i live to dub....

well in 2004 thats when they changed the front doors window,
The CITI golf is the best selling Car in SA, my car is the top of the range it cost about R100 000, thats about 10 000Pounds, and the 1.4i's cost about
R86 000 and the 1.4Carb is R64 000, but that got nothing….

I'll post lots and lots a pics if u want!
the front over the years has changed alittle the front fender slants forward not back but otherwise its the same

other friends life 2003, 1.6i, cams, branch, Vr6 front springs, Merc Back springs, the most popular track setup, it was 110Kws, but has been sold now, he got a new Velociti 1.6, and has just Put NOS on it 130Kws,

            Some nice citi's, mine is a bog standard 1.3, nothing powerful, but a joy to drive, it came from namibia, it was registered as NU 1538.

Also can i ask you from what car is the lip on your front bumper from please, wouldn't mind fitting one to mine.

Bert , so u imported ur's thats cool, yours is clean! very nice!

Peddersgolf , Its the Golf MK3 VR3 front Lip, and the white golf has the Mk2 Like my lip better!

Well the VR6 Lip is already a 2 Piece, so all u got to do is cut it to fit in the middle and then use self tapers, screw it into the bumper…
BTW cost in SA for the Lip is about R250, Thus 25 Pounds?

hi, guys, IMG-20170421-WA0008.jpg I'm new here need your opinion I have a 2003 citi life 1.6 It cost me a few bucks to get it in this shape, she was a bit of mechanical nightmare, with some rust on the boot lid, firewall, and roof lip.
