New Rivage owner... and loving it!!

Hi there

Have been a member for a few months now; got my Rivage in December and absolutely love her :D
She's a '92 with 120k on the clock, but is in good condition; especially now i've spent near on ?1k on her (all mechanical) but worth it. Just uploaded photo in gallery - not sure how to get it on here  :dontknow:

a few problems with starting when wet - seems to be a common problem (?) need to be looking at HT leads/dizzy cap etc for starters…. Can anyone let me know which is the best Haynes manual to get hold of…??  :?

Cheers

Hi Georgie and welcome!!

Your pics will have uploaded but they wont appear until a moderator has approved them (I'll take a look and do for you shortly! )

Yep, you sound to be on the right track for your damp starting - as temp measure spray what you got with WD40 (leads etc) to help displace water.

Go for the Haynes Golf Restoration manual - you'll find on ebay and amazon. For restoration and various other jobs it by far the best but you also can't beat an original Haynes manual for routine maintenance

Cheers
Andy

Welcome georgie

Plenty of Rivage owners on here will be willing to give advice and the search facilty may help with your starting problem .

Try Ebay for your Haynes manual , the last ones produced had a red cover [and had the most information], so thats the one too look out for

Cheers chudd…..

WD40 is my new best friend - but will be getting new leads etc to put in shortly! Thanks for the advice!

Thanks - she is in really good condition - need to clean the hood up a little more. To be honest would love to get a new hood, but the pennies won't go that far at the mo!
