new clipper no nothing

hello i just got me a golf cab 18 manual ive had it bout  2 month dont no anything about it if its carb what engine what needs fixing so im here for help its E reg gold or brown its running but 1st gear a bit dodgy and its a bit bouncy im in the warrington area so any good mechanics recomendations any help thanks

Loads of people glad to give the benefit of their expertise and knowledge on here, so ask away with your questions  8)

If the cab's a bit bouncy sounds like your suspension needs looking at, and the gearboxes are notorious for playing up a bit, usually starting with first and third. Could just be your gear linkage needing attention.

They'll get the bug! My youngest was about 10/11 when I got my first one and now he's 20 and drives a 79 S1 as his first car!
