Just joined!

Hi everyone,
I've just signed up as a fully paid up member and I'm looking forward to meeting fellow Mk1'ers when possible. I'm based in North Wales and signed up to the North West region.

I pick up my Gti Convertible CC tomorrow and would like to ask advice on getting a quality cover. The car will be kept in a garage, but I want to protect from all the dust that'll blow in. So, suggestions would be much appreciated.

The CC. is a bit of a rarity but I'm sure we got some members here with them too.
There was always the controversy of what the CC stood for cocco channel was a myth as it's actually called the Christmas cab.

There was three versions made to coincide with seasonal events.
So lady Charme, lady sunshine and mr moon which was blue metallic.
Seats etc having the cc logo on them.

Car cover wise if it's in garage a soft flannelette sheet.
There are other tailored ones made out there.

Hi.. and welcome to club.. if you're gonna have your car living in a garage… then any car cover will do the trick.. or some nice old blankets to keep it snuggled up.

Make sure you have car dry inside before putting away  as moisture inside leads strange things happening to electrics and mould forming on 20 odd yrs materials.
