trying to find a mark 2 16v warm up regulator

hi trying to find a  mark 2 16v warm up regularor and mark 1 injector seals
both are for a mark 1 golf cabrio
the mechanic says he is going to convert  mark 2 regulator  for mark 1 … does that sound right??

Yeah if i remember correctly, used to be a common swap, i think it does something the mk1 one dosnt but i forget...
