New to the forum, hoping to share and receive some useful info about our Mk1s.

So can you please tell us a little about yourself and lots about your Mk1?

I'm fairly sure you are our very first member from Israel 🇮🇱 which is great to know that our club attracts Mk1 fans truly from around the world.

If you could tell us a bit about the Mk1 scene in Israel as that would be very interesting to hear and of course lots of pictures of your Mk1! 😉 👍🏼

Israel is a different location for golf spotting, I only saw old mercs when I was working over there.

Well I'm 25 years of age, third year mechanical engineering student, been into the Mk1 scene since 2013 (had an abf caddy).

The Mk1 scene here is very compact, 90% of Mk1 owners are in one group and everyone knows everyone. The whole car scene here is screwed, but its developing (very) slowly.

Ive tried to post a new thread of my ongoing project but as i sent the post i had an error and couldn't find what it was, something with the form of my post.

What could it be?

Mhmm, old Mercs? When was that? its rare seeing old Mercs nowadays here. Mostly Lease cars.

Yes mate I was working in  Dimona  on gas power plant 2 times last 3 years. I had pleasure of taxi to from hotel to site 1 day I cycled to route on borrowed cycle. Not quite as much fun as I was laughed at with my lycra on

Believe it or not, ive never been in Dimona, theres just nothing to do there.
I live in Tel Aviv, Dead centre of Israel but i like driving my mk1 to the north, good roads unless you get blocked by them lycra wearing cyclers      on saturday mornings.
