A NEW NEWBIE!!

Hi all, just a quick intro?I own an 90 Clipper in a very nice VW ?Gold? colour (looks tan to me). Totally standard condition.
Personally I?ve had the car nearly 10years now since , only had 32k on the clock & 1 prior owner, now 104k). Best ?4.5k on a car ever spent. Never a problem until recently, so  I had to retire the dreaded ?Pierburg carb? in favour of the weber conversion.  Why can?t they make cars with this character any more.  Still amazes me how a 15 year old car is appreciated by old & young.
A sad day when my little ?Maxine? retires, hopefully anoth 5 years in her at least  :D

Hello and welcome. a webber is a good replacement and goes like stink when set up properly. i hope your car will last a lot longer than a few years with 104K, there good for at least double that! mines on 145K and starts in an instant! good solid cars with plenty to see and fix
