Best site for MK1 Spares

Morning,

Just bought a 1983 MK1 GT1 and need to sort a few bits. What is the best site for spares etc please to order - like boot lid seal for instance? Also got different key for each lock, n/s door lock doesnt even work anyway  - is it straight forward to replace all locks/ignition so key'd alike and again best place to purchase.

Replacing the locks on the car isn't that hard save for the ignition switch.  It would do you better to have the other 4 locks keyed to match the ignition switch.

There are wafers in the locks that can be moved or changed to the profile of the ignition key.  There are plenty of how-to tutorials on it.

As Briano stated. Change the lock wafers to match the ignition key. Days work.

As mentioned above can be done, but maybe ask richard and his team to do… have a day trip out..

I bought new lockset, and left ignition key as found.. that way i can leave car running and lock doors.. useful in winter.
