Grill badge

Any one no how to get hold of the mk1 owners club grill badge, club shop is forever sold out,cheers.

Thinking of buying one- do they stay attached ok?

I believe the club shop is ordering some more stock but let's check lhasadreams .

They attach like any other sold metal badge for example the old style AA ones. Two threaded pins in the back pushing through the grill and held on by a flat plate, ring washer and small nut.

Had mine for nearly 6 years without any real issues! 😉



I do find that if I'm a bit aggressive with the jet wash both badges do slip slightly as seen above but I can move them straight carefully with my fingers which I didn't do for this photo. 😉 👍🏼

Thanks Mike. They look very good on your wonderful Golf. With both of us having the same forename I propose we change the club name to the Mike 1 Owners Club.

Well Mike with the number of posts I've made in the past 6 years I'd say that I'm a majority share holder here anyway! 😂 😉
