Anyone got an original radio to fit 89 clipper ?

I've tried to find a original radio everyone says fit a retro one . Car is as original as showroom but present radio is not . Any help would be appreciated.

1989 cassette radio

I have the same issue. As a temporary measure, I picked up a VW Alpha radio from a Lupo about 2000 model year. Old style radio cassette, looks original.

I had an old centre console that I then fitted the CD unit you can also get and fitted it in.

Looks the part and it's discrete.

I'm not at home for a few days, but if you want, when I get back I'll take some photos.

Check and translate your build sticker in the boot and check the options your car had.

It could well of not had one to start with

Going through some paperwork I've found an '89 Pioneer catalogue which may help. I've taken some snaps, not sure if Pioneer were offered though.

Here are some snaps of the old head units I have. Not entirely sure from which year they're from though.  CA851E99-D352-4BCA-B7B4-872A715AFE3A.jpeg 07C3833C-48CB-474E-83B4-81B293CB6F98.jpeg AAD98296-3166-4878-8B76-B87E33EABCED.jpeg 30BBB53C-0C18-42A4-9784-E541C79CB128.jpeg 58B2584D-B815-442B-854F-73DF55DADD4C.jpeg FF6CA359-0957-40BF-8616-404C25B84ED5.jpeg E3658A29-0614-4921-BBB4-CBBF8DFA7829.jpeg 5F24FC95-85A9-4369-B2B2-7AB821707B66.jpeg C0E057DA-9338-48CC-9862-51C64960299F.jpeg A1D8CF58-7B3C-4352-A407-13BBF4B2673F.jpeg
